Maren & Tripp

Photographing a couple in a place that holds real meaning always makes a session feel more intentional, and Maren and Tripp’s engagement photos at Indiana University were no exception. It was so fun heading to Bloomington and capturing them around campus, especially knowing IU is where their relationship first began.

This session was especially meaningful to me because Maren became best friends with my sister while they were at IU. Over the years, she truly felt like part of our family—spending time in Jasper and staying at my parents’ house whenever she visited. Being asked to photograph this season of her life was such an honor, and seeing her so genuinely happy with Tripp made it even more special.

From well-known paths to quieter corners, IU gave us plenty of great locations to work with.
