Emmy & Anthony

When Anthony reached out to ask if I would photograph his proposal to Emmy, I was equal parts excited and nervous. Since this was my first proposal, I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. I wanted to make sure I was close enough to capture the moment without being seen before he asked the question.

Anthony planned the proposal around one of their usual walks on campus, which made it feel especially thoughtful and true to them. While these two met in high school, their relationship continued to grow at the University of Evansville. Being back in a place filled with shared memories made the moment feel even more meaningful.
