Engagement at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery | Cody & Ailaa

From the moment I met Cody at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery, I could tell just how much he loved Ailaa. As we walked around the property searching for the perfect proposal spot in the back garden, he shared details about their relationship, how he had planned the day, and everything he was looking forward to about their future together. He even picked up a bottle of champagne from the winery to celebrate afterward. It was obvious that every detail had been thoughtfully planned to make the day feel special for Ailaa.

As we waited for her to arrive, the excitement (and nerves!) started to build. We got into position, and Cody took his place in the garden. Ailaa walked up the path thinking she was headed to a photoshoot with friends, completely unaware that one of the biggest moments of her life was about to happen.

The second she spotted Cody waiting for her, everything changed. She was so surprised, and it was truly so special to be a part of this moment.

Oh, and of course, Ailaa said yes!

After taking a few moments to soak it all in and celebrate with champagne, we spent the rest of the evening exploring the beautiful grounds of Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery for some more photos. Between the historic architecture, lush gardens, and golden evening light, the property provided the perfect backdrop.

Cody and Ailaa were all smiles the entire time, and it was so easy to see the love and excitement they shared. Being able to capture moments like these is one of my favorite things, and I feel so honored to have documented such a meaningful day for them.
